This soft creature is made from upcycled scraps of previous projects, vintage maps, and paint chips. It is from my last solo exhibition in Austin “What a Wild Ride,” where all the art is created from upcycled trash and scraps, and all the pieces are named after different experiences I had during my 14-year-stint in Austin, Texas. This piece is named after a side hustle I had selling vintage kitchen and glassware called The Kitchen Committee.
